The solar trailer for e-bikes. It was renewed in 2024 and is now available.

Solar Wind was developed from years of leading-edge international racing.

It combines a simple but elegant aluminium trailer with a high-performance solar panel. Using this trailer, Raf Van Hulle won in 42 days the 12,000km 2018 Sun Trip Silk Road race to China.

The strong, light aluminium frame is built in a small series at a local Belgian company. The baggage lies close to the ground for maximum stability and rests on a anti-slip tray to keep baggage streamlined and protected from dirt. The single wheel makes the trailer small and very manoeuvrable. It follows the bicycle perfectly, with minimum rolling resistance.

225Wp Sunpower GEN3 225Wp (157x67cm) mounted on tilting frame with 3 hand-clamps. The solar panel is made of 1mm aluminum and has reinforced corners. It has an internal separation that allows a half-extended top panel for charging up to 337Wp while driving!
